Work from "Type: Needs" series:
Notes about work:
Architect and designer Le Corbusier used electrical cable to demonstrate his views on utility . The cable conducts electricity, but the manner in which its usefulness is organized is the beauty of the object.
He used the cross-section of the material as the means to illustrate the elegance in its design.
Taking from this philosophy, I also sought to reveal the secrets embedded in the interior spaces of the objects.
I chose a dinette set and sliced down one continuous straight line.
