Deer and Golf microcosm

Work from "Type: Needs" series:

Notes about work:

Initially I was interested in lawn ornaments. I planned on creating a piece which collapsed the line between interior and exterior living spaces. What I ultimately hit on instead was more of a fabrication of the natural and a play on scale.

Gigantic deer are naively roaming through developed land; specifically a golf course. The humans are tiny in scale and the huge towering deer are threatening as opposed to a passive magestic relic. Ultimately both humans and deer are rather oblivious to each other.
A cluster of testicles hang in front of the bucks - giving them something to pursue.
