Find a digital image example of the following design concepts:

1. Color: Saturation
2. Color: Desaturation
3. Color: Mono Chromatic
4. Color: Symbolic
5. Lines
6. Texture
7. Pattern
8. Scale
9. Composition: Symmetrical
10. Composition: Asymmetrical
11. Composition: Rule of 3rds
12. Class Choice: Conceptual / Subject (class gets to vote on this category) - SURREAL or MOTION

 

These images can be .jpg, .gif, .png (web formats)

Rename all image files:

1_lastname_saturation.jpg
2_lastname_desaturation.jpg
3_lastname_monochromic.jpg
4_lastname_symbolic.jpg
5_lastname_lines.jpg
6_lastname_texture.jpg
7_lastname_pattern.jpg
8_lastname_scale.jpg
9_lastname_symmetrical.jpg
10_lastname_asymmetrical.jpg
11_lastname_ruleof3rds.jpg
12_lastname_classchoice.jpg

Place all images in a folder:
lastname_workshop1-1

 

As you are working, keep a back-up on your USB
When you are completely finished, drop folder into the Turn-In folder on the Shared Server in the classroom.
