DUE: 4/25
Icon Research ReDesign
Your task is to use the content of your Icon Research illustrator file and create a new and improved layout using InDesign. You will create a 2 page spread with the original illustrator file placed on the left facing page (page 2) and your new design worked on the right facing page (page 3). The size is up to you.
*Before you open a file, in InDesign > Preferences > Units & Increments > change Horizontal and Vertical to "Inches" instead of "picas".
New Docement, 2 pages, page starts on page 2, facing pages. The Width and Height are up to you.
What should be in the NEW Layout:
- 2 pages (as a single spread to demonstrate the "before" and "after")
- Use color
- Your placed icon
- Use a pull-quote
- Use a drop-cap
- Spell Check (and also check your grammar while you are at it!)
- Save as an .indd (working file) and also .pdf (output file)
- Keep all source images saved in an "assets" folder
